When Sotheby's recently sold "The Scream" by Edvard Munch for almost $120 million it became the most expensive artwork ever sold in an auction !
Munch's Scream inspired renowned artist Mordechai Edel to paint             "The Edel Mentch ", a joyous sequel to mitigate the shrieks of torment and angst aroused by the Scream . 
    
Happily Edel's oil painting is now being offered for purchase for only 

1% of Munch's $120 million dollar Scream , 

bringing joy to the new owner

        for a much more affordable $1 .2 million !

Why did Edel paint 
"The Mentch" ?

 The deeper Truth revealed  ... 

The saga of painting "The Happy Mentch" commenced after the Edels sold their home 3 years ago.They received professional advice from the owner of the reputable ZLC Financial Group regarding reinvesting the proceeds . 
Shortly after, the sister of the owner of the ZLC Financial Group  was highly recommended to the Edels as a superb financial adviser by several prominent community personalities . 
It transpired that she was the owner of the similarly named, ill fated LZ Wealth Management which the Edels initially believed was part of the ZLC Financial Group . 
Tragically the Edels invested and lost $500,000, the majority of their life savings, due to the bankruptcy of LZ Wealth Management .

Munch's  Scream now seemed to dramatize the Edels trauma !

Regardless of criminal accusations against the owner of LZ Wealth Management  the Edels maintain that the adage "innocent unless proven guilty " must prevail in spite of the fact that there is no hope of the return of their life savings ! 
This seemingly magnanimous attitude was evident when Edel was interviwed by Global T.V. News' reporter Ted Chernecki.
Edel gives gratitude for that interview as he came to realise that his financial redemption could not be accomplished through prosecution or asking for remorse  or a handout but rather by moving forward and sharing his G-d given painting talent as featured on Global News. 
Although Edel initially experienced the torment of angst and anxiety of Munch's Scream he realized that within the affliction is written the prescription for redemption .In order to redeem the downtrodden grapes of wrath Edel began to paint the metamorphosis  from Munch's Scream to Simcha of a Mentch . 
The "Edel Mentch"painting represents a call to action for compassionate society to assist one's fellow man both universally as well as closer to home . In some ways it is a vehicle to permit it's intrinsic value and energy to stimulate healing for all involved ,both aggressor ,victim ,benefactor and receiver . 
This New Season offers an opportunity for rebirth through return, prayer and charity . 
If we can destroy then together we can repair . 
"We are all made in G-d's image so together may we activate man's inherent G-dly philanthropic benevolence rather than be dragged down by the pain often created by man's inhumanity to man ! "
A sad myth  maintains that  financial success is only obtained once an artist is dead . 
But of what benefit is a patron's investment  to an artist after  he is dead ? 
Likewise , of what benefit is money to anyone after they leave this world ? 
Surely life is to be lived in the land of the living ! 
I'H",by selling this painting at the asking price ,many ,many people could be helped in the here and now to altruistically enable a few more caring souls to participate in  bringing health and happiness to  one another making more pleasant  our short stay in our earthly Paradise .
"Together we can succeed. I am convinced that my painting will sell for the asking price because I have absolute faith in the inherent goodness of man made in the image of G-d ", says Edel .

An approximate accounting would realize $200,000 donated to a registered charity of choice . Roughly $500,000 would automatically go to government taxes with the remaining $500,000 replacing and redeeming the Edels financial loss .
Although the unique story of "The Mentch " necessitates it to be sold for 
$1.2 million, Edel invites clients to commission him to paint other works of art at more conventional price tags from which charitable donations would also be given .
